2026-10-07 21:55:20 +13:00 | 1 commits to main since this release- A device announces only addresses that reach it (#360). It never guesses one, such as the router's public address at its own port, which on a server behind the same router as the desktop pointed other devices at the desktop.
- Ports start at 47100: a device takes 47100, or the next free port, for TCP and UDP each on its own, on IPv6 as on IPv4. It asks the router for 47100, or the next, for each, which works with routers that won't pick a free port themselves.
- A port the router forwards for TCP only is tried over TCP, rather than announced as if it were for QUIC.
